Cookies and Local Storage

This page explains how the website stores information on a visitor’s device and how that information supports the quote and booking process.
1. What are cookies and local storage?
Cookies are small files placed on a browser or device. Local storage is a browser feature that lets a website save information on the device for use during a later visit.
2. What this website currently uses
The current site does not intentionally use advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies. It uses browser local storage for booking functionality and temporary prototype information.

3. Why storage is used
- To remember progress in an unfinished quote.
- To move booking details between pages in the prototype.
- To display booking and payment confirmation.
- To prevent completed bookings being shown as unfinished.
4. Third-party services
The site may contact services needed to operate it, including the host, postcode validation, payment, email or text-message providers. Live providers may use their own essential cookies or security technologies.
The site currently loads the Inter font from Google Fonts, so the browser may connect to Google’s servers to retrieve font files.
5. Analytics and advertising
The current version does not intentionally place analytics, advertising or social-media tracking cookies. If those are added, this policy and any required controls will be updated before use.
6. Managing or deleting stored information
You can remove saved website information through your browser’s privacy, cookie or site-data settings. Clearing site data may remove an unfinished quote.
The booking form also provides a “Start again” option when a saved quote is found.
